Wednesday 2014 – A Start of Lenten Renewal
To commemorate the start of Lent this year,
Trinity celebrated in evening worship as we traditionally have done. However, we also offered imposition of ashes
in the morning and over the lunch hour to serve the downtown community and our
working neighbors. In addition to offering ashes in the sanctuary and Stiles
Chapel, Trinity staff even took ash imposition out onto the street, showing the
downtown community that Trinity is Here
for Good and a part of the neighborhood.
We were able to share God’s love and message with many people who aren’t
a part of our worship community.
